Already in 1906, the name “Amashaufer” was synonym for premium-grade wood processing and trade. During the first decades of its existence, the company focused on the sawmill and the trade of hardwood. Our delivery program range contains all species of hardwood lumber, available in different thickness and dried in different types of processes. Upon request, special dimensions fresh cut are possible.
The cutting of our hardwood logs is done with a computer-controlled band saw, where the quality can be adjusted to the respective cutting thickness after each cut in order to get the best possible yield from the logs. Through the computer optimisation, it is possible to keep the cut of the rind low in order to be able to use the logs sustainably.
